This Privacy Policy explains how PriceTrackr ("PriceTrackr", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the PriceTrackr mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information: the email address you provide when you create an account.
- Watchlist & alert data: the coins you track and the price ranges you configure.
- Push notification token: a device token used solely to deliver the price alerts you request.
- Subscription status: whether you hold an active subscription, managed through Google Play Billing and our payments provider.
- Basic technical data: such as app version and device platform, used to operate and improve the App.
What we do NOT collect: we never ask for or store your wallet keys, exchange credentials, bank details, or any funds. PriceTrackr does not connect to your crypto holdings — it only tracks public market prices.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To deliver the price alerts and notifications you set up.
- To provide and sync your watchlist across sessions.
- To manage subscriptions and unlock paid features.
- To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
Service providers
We share limited data with trusted providers only as needed to run the App:
- Supabase — authentication and database (stores your account, watchlist, and alert history).
- Expo — delivery of push notifications to your device.
- RevenueCat & Google Play Billing — subscription and payment processing.
- Market data providers (such as Binance, MEXC, and CoinGecko) — public cryptocurrency price data. We do not send your personal information to these providers.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and watchlist are removed. See how to delete your account.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by managing your account in the App or by contacting us. To request deletion, follow the steps on our Account Deletion page.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
PriceTrackr is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
